That address may not be zoned for Takoma Park ES. It may be Rolling Terrace, which is much less desirable. That strip of New Hampshire Ave borders PG County and Langley Park.

Scroll all the way down that page and you can see that price is normal compared to nearby similar listings and nearby recent sales; and it's 2012 tax assessment is $235,000.

Built in 67. That is very old for high rise. Building is bound to have a lot of issues. Condo fee of 438 is going to go up. So will the annual assessment.
What kind of people live there? Are you going to be the only one with noisy children?

I know that high-rise condos are an acquired taste, but this seems like a nice price for entree in to DCUM-approved public schools.
