fcps here, our elementary school child gets off the bus at 4:35 and doesn't get home until 4:45. The kids are not allowed to get pens and pencils out on the bus, so there is no chance of getting homework done on the ride home.

By the time they go to the bathroom and eat, there is just enough time to change into costumes before going out.

yes, 5th and 2nd. Generally, we don't, but with the unschedule days off I understand. But we didn't do it. Truly it's such a zoo here it wasn't going to happen.

Just reading. Very happy to be able to go to parties and trick or treat with my kids without having to worry about homework. It was a nice evening.

I was sort of surprised that my third grader got homework tonight. Anyone else? I'm Los a bit surprised that this type a mom has become such a slacker mom. Happy Halloween!
