We replaced our sliding door and two bays with Marvin. Full year tear out, if you have standard sized windows, was cheaper than replacement. Stay away from the engineered wood, only get the solid wood. Also, the quality of their installation varies. That said, they will come and fix something if it isn't right.

No idea about Marvin, but we got new replacement windows from Champion Window last year. The old windows were really worn out and we had no choice but to replace them, and we're happy we got new ones installed, because we see a marked difference in our energy bills! You might want to call their factory representative for a free in-home estimate.

We did ours and DIY'ed them. They are nice and easy to install but if we did it again, I might have gone a bit cheaper.

Any experience with Marvin replacement windows? The storm reminded me that we really need to replace our original (1970s) windows.
