Where were you during Irene? In Bethesda where I was during Irene it was a non-event.

VA is a bit south of a lot of the action, I think.

Very windy and heavy rain in Frederick, MD. Lights keep flickering, but so far so good.

Traffic has picked up on our street in VA. No clue where these people are headed but there was a point for a few hours where the road was clear.

It's about what I expected in Arlington. Our ceiling is leaking, the windows are rattling, and the power went out before 6. Watching the footage of the Delaware and NJ flooding is really depressing.

Really, where in VA do you live. It's horribly windy here and if it lasts all night, it's going to be ugly with lots of damage.
