Just take one of your Xanny's.
No need to be sarcastic. NP here. A tree fell on our house during the derecho this summer and would have certainly injured us if we were home and sleeping in our bedrooms. DD's window was completing blown in with glass everywhere, including the hallway 20 feet from the window itself. The winds from this storm are expected to be more severe. I think it's smart that people are cautious about their safety. No need to be dismissive, PP.
I am so sorry to hear what happened to your home, but thank God you all were not there! Other poster...Don't be fooled by Category 1. There was a whole write up in the post or somewhere about this. It's all the systems coming together and this is an unprecedented event that doesn't look good.
I don't understand what this means: all the systems coming together. Not being snarky here. I am looking at weather.com and I can't figure out why this is the "perfect storm."
