I've bought it at the Lee Harrison HT as well. It's with the rest of the greens in the refrigerated case on the right side of the produce section. I've always found the employees there to be really helpful, maybe ask one of them if you can't find it.

Maybe call the Italian Store in Arlington and see if they have any or know where to get some?
Crap. Now I"m craving the Italian Store

Thanks, guys -- I'm Italian so I know it's sometimes called rapini (you'll see it's in my original post).

Good suggestion on the Asian markets and Wegmans (which carries lots of Italian foods), it's just that I don't really want to drive all the way to Fairfax if I can help it, but if I'm out that way, I'll hit up H-Mart or Weggies for sure.

At Wegmans it is called rapini and is sold near the bitter greens.

May go by different names like rapini:

You may also want to try Asian markets. They sometimes have it (or something similar).

OP here, OOH -- where in the veggie section is it? I'll hunt if you can clue me in to the general area it pops up in...

I've seen it at Harris Teeter in Potomac and Balduccis in Bethesda. Sorry - I know that doesn't help you in N. Arlington!

Good luck - it is hard to find.

Seriously, I never see it in the grocery store (WF in Clarendon, HT in Ballston, Safeway in Ballston or 7 corners). Is there somewhere in N Arlington I can get it, fresh or frozen? I need my rapini fix!
