That isn't true. At any given time you will find a cross section of opinions from both left and right leaning media outlets.

OntheIssues seems pretty neutral. The hard part is that candidates will often take conflicting positions over time, or avoid taking any position at all on hard issues. So you need someone to make estimates and evaluations about what the candidates would do.

I'm hoping to find something that's basically "just the facts" about Obama and Romney - what their policies are, what exactly they have done, plan to do, etc. 90% of what comes back when I google has tons of political rhetoric in it - mostly "this is what the other guy doesn't want you to know" or "Romney/Obama is against X", then when I go to the alternate candidate and they say I'm not against "X". Obama/Romney is against X".

It's frustrating and less than enlightening - since I want to be an educated voter and not just blindly follow my party, I'm hoping for more substance.

Any pointers?
