I haven't totally figured this out as I don't eat vegetarian all the time. But it seems like I sleep fine if I don't have meat during the day but if I have meet, then hot flashes wake me up at night. There could be much more to it like whether I have caffeine or not and I'm not sure. But is there anyone who has found that by cutting out meat that it reduces the hot flashes. I don't care too much during the day, but at night not flashes keep me up for hours.
