No I disagreed with dream act, anchor babies, illegals and I do not like it when legal immigrants faill to assimilate

democrat. Tort reform. I think corporations need the fear of a lawsuit to rein in their worst instincts, but I think contingency fees aren't the solution.

Anchor babies, omg don't get me started. Sure, THEY can stay here in Texas after you get picked up for your 2nd DUI, but that doesn't mean you get to stay here to care for them. Don't want to be separated from minor child due to deportation? Then you both to back to Latin America -- not "you both stay here pending your 43rd hearing."

Registered as an independent, but really I'm a Republican. Gun control and environmental issues. On both I think the Repubs are way off.

Don't support gay marriage, but okay with civil unions.

Pro-life, but also very much pro-birth control.

I'm voting republican for the first time in my life. My vote won't count since everyone else here is voting for Obama... But it will make me feel better. Our state is broke, I'm tired of rewarding people who come to this country illegally. That's where Obama lost my vote. I hate everything about Romney, oh well.

Democrat - voter ID. You can't get on a plane without ID, and in VA you only need a utiliity bill. Common sense ought to prevail here, if you can get to your polling place, can't you get to your DMV?

Democrat. Not thrilled with blanket approval of all things union. Other than that, I agree with most things.

BUT, I'm disappointed in a lot of things the Obama administration has done that I think contravene these standards.

Republican - gay marriage

Democrat. We should not turn our back on free trade. NAFTA was a good idea.

Democrat. Immigration issues. I don't think the republicans have this issue figured out, either. Not even close. However, I think the democrats are way too passive or too politically compromised.
