You mean the way you treat the Christians? Or the billionaires who want tax breaks? Or angry white males?
I hate to tell you this, but in our two-party system both major parties are loose coalitions of voting blocs. The parties each seek to gain advantage by appealing to groups of voters. In fact, I seem to recall that Karl Rove was once widely admired for his understanding of political marketing and his very targeted tactics of voter appeal.
