Bahadori did my daughter's ears, tonsils and adenoids at the Woodburn Surgical Center, which is next door to Inova Fairfax. It was great, very convenient, and gave peace of mind because of the hosp next door. See if you can go there. Tonsils are a bigger deal than simple tubes. We've done tubes alone, and tubes with tonsils/adenoids, and the latter's recovery was much more difficult. She had a lot of pain and was under anesthesia for quite a bit longer.

Dr Bahadori did my DD's tubes as well as a minor surgical procedure at the same time. No problems at all. They have a major operation going -- down to a science. You needn't worry about the surgical center, but the location is a PITA, even if you live in NOVA.

My son had ear tubes, my daughter had surgery for removal of a growth on her face and I had invasive ear surgery - all went very well. The facility is spotless, staff is amazingly organized and caring. If they still have the same procedure, they will give your child a brand new teddy bear before surgery to comfort them. I can't give enough praise to this center. I highly recommend them!

Just the fear if anything at all goes wrong not being in an actual hospital, frightens me. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I much rather be overboard with caution than to ever regret any decisions.

We had my son's ear tubes done there and it was fine. I found the location horribly inconvenient and so we did the second set of tubes and tonsils at Georgetown. What do you think would be safer about a hospital?

Anyone have experience in taking their child to this center for removal of tonsils. I much rather do it at an hospital just for safety reasons. Is that crazy of me?
