And you want to deny them the right to celebrate this? Sheesh. Some folks have no mercy.

No one thinks twice about the schools that have governor's award banners or blue ribbon school banners. And no one would think twice if TJ had a similar sign out front. It really doesn't bother me. Let them be proud of their school.

I don't think people pay much attention to that sign, even when stuck in traffic on Route 7 near Marshall.

Nope not a Marshal basher-a supporter/parent that just thinks the sign is a bit much.

So people think the Elementary school car magnets are a bragging thing in a previous post. How do people feel about the sign outside of Marshall HS "#3 Va #55 in the nation"?? This is just in ONE report. There are several different reports. I'm all for a school that has showed tremendous improvement over the years. We SHOULD be proud! But I feel the sign could be a bit less aggressive/in your face. Like top 10 school in VA or top ranked in the nation.... You know like some of the Blue Ribbon schools have just a Blue Ribbon sign....
