Ethnically, I'm Ashkenazic. Commonly known as a Jewish white lady with Eastern Eurpean ancestry.
Religously, culturally, I'm a Jew. PP 12:42 put it well.

Are you talking about people who check other and write in Jewish as their race on forms? I know a woman who does this except she writes Italian as her race. She's done this since high school.

I generally tend to think of Judiasm as an ethnicity, too, but only because I know a lot of Ashkenazi Jews here in the US, descending from Europeans.
However, I met several Ethiopian Jews a few years ago and that changed my perception.
I'll refer to people however they'd like, though.

Jew here - its both a religion, an ethnicity, a race, and a culture.
It is something you are by birth, but also allows a path for conversions. It is (by jewish law, whether you agree or not) something a person cannot change or convert out of, even if they dont believe in G-d, dont follow any of the commandments, and eat bacon every day

I would agree that there is Jewish culture just as there is Muslim culture and Christian culture. I would not, however, label Judaism a culture or a race, or that matter.

It's an ethnicity, not a race. I've never heard a Jew referring to the "Jewish Race," and as a Jew, I know lots of other Jews. It's common to hear Jews refer to themselves as ethnically (or culturally) Jewish. I'm pretty sure that you're confusing the two, as I can't recall any posts where people refer to themselves as "racially Jewish."
