+1 My DH is from Mexico and this is the advice he gives. We've tried some of those places out in Maryland but they don't cook like his mom.If anyone has a recommendation for where we can get decent chilaquiles we'd appreciate it.

That's where the Mexican population is more congregated. I haven't been in a while, but we have liked El Tapatio in the past for their tacos. I'll have to try Tres Reyes next time we head out that way.
There's also a place up in Gaithersburg called Tortaco. They only have tortas and tacos and they are pretty good. The owner is a Mexican from Los Angeles and he has tried to emulate an LA taqueria up there.
