I just wore a maternity dress to a wedding even though I gave birth 2 months ago ... and I still have about 15 pounds to lose. I got a lot of compliments on it and nobody knew it was maternity. You can judge whether or not a dress looks good on you. If it wasn't a maternity dress, would you wear it? If the answer is yes, then you should wear it.

19:28, just to be clear this is my third child so I am no novice here. I was just saying it would not work for me

Not sure it would fit. DS was a huge baby. I was hugely pregnant.

I say wear it considering how much it cost. I had a purple wrap dress by Isabella Oliver that I only wore once to a wedding. Would have loved to wear it again.

Nobody will know its maternity, just wear what feels comfortable and looks good. Ignore PP- she is only 23 weeks pregnant. A lot of changes happen in the last trimester and not everyone is back to normal with no tummy at the end of maternity leave.

I wouldn't do it but it probably depends on your body. I am 23 weeks pregnant and would still look ridiculous in maternity clothes bc there is no bump. Def would be recognizable when not pregnant

Has anyone worn theirs when back to normal size? I splurged on a few Isabella Oliver items when pregnant and barely wore them. I think I could get away with it but I feel self conscious about whenever I try them on like someone is going to know its maternity.
