yes I heard this story back in the days when email was new and the internet was not something everything used or had even heard of LOL so the story has been going around for awhile. The cookies are delicious.

Meh, they are ok but not so much better than regular chocolate chip cookies that I ever go through the extra effort to make them.

Yes they are delicious especially with the grated chocolate in the batter. Been making them for years.

Blending the oatmeal isn't that time consuming.

Yes and yes. So good. If you don't blend th oats its more lumpy (not chunky in a good way) and I think they are more dry that way. If you blend the oats, it's like a regular chocolate chip cookie with something that you can't place your finger on that makes it so good and different.
