I don't think it will affect me in my lifetime so. Perhaps my child's lifetime. My child's child...too far down the road.

I call troll, but for those who can relate to the OP, I invite you to spend a week in my home country where America pays to throw your trash. Yes, you pay us to use our land to discard of the shit you throw in the trash.

My school was just a few miles away from the largest landfill in my country that's why I use cloth, recycle, bush my teeth with the faucet off, turn the shower off when I shampoo my hair.

I'm a "mean, uncaring" Republican, and even I recycle. Why the heck wouldn't you recycle? Like PPs have said, you put it in one bin. You don't even have to separate a thing.

Neither do I. Kudos to those that do, but I can't be bothered.

ok- paper, glass, cans, cardboard and most plastics. How could that spawn doubt? My 3 year old does it, so IT ISN'T DIFFICULT.

I am not AGAINST recycling, but if there is any doubt whatsoever, it goes in the main trash can. SO normally I recycle very very little.

Where I live in Fairfax County, everything goes into one recycling bin. That's it. No sorting. Glass, plastic, paper, you name it -- one bin.

It's not terribly difficult. It's just a matter of building the habit.

If you live in MoCo and don't recycle, you are one lazy ass. There are hardly any 'rules' related to plastics reycling in MoCo anymore.

I don't either.. but because my trash company charges a boatload extra for the "blue bin" which I think is stupid.
