My mother is one. She takes the "where there's smoke there's fire" approach. Figures if there's so much talk about it, there must be some truth. I occasionally wonder if she's suffering some early dementia, because she used to be center-left, and in the last 10 years, she's gone off-the-deep-end right. Poor dad.

Even if he was Muslim, who cares?! Any American regardless of religion is free to be POTUS. The beauty of America.

I think only people who already think he is a Muslim see that clip and think it is "proof". I don't see that clip as validation of that theory at all.

Are there any birthers on DCUM? I was having a conversation today with the friend of a friend and when I went to his facebook page (to snoop) I was shocked to discover that he is a birther. He genuinely believes that Obama is a secret Muslim and all that jazz. I don't think I've ever actually encountered a real live birther before, so it made me wonder how many of them are lurking on DCUM. So, if you are a birther, what evidence do you have? What do you think his ultimate plan is? Do your friends and family think you are nuts? Do YOU think you are nuts?
