Blair Math and Science Magnet Program. Without a doubt, hands down, irrefutably the best.


And to some extent the good non-magnet MoCo public high schools, which do offer challenging math and science classes and probably a larger math/science peer group than any of the MoCo private schools. Plus a few of them (Wootton, Whitman, probably others) have kids doing internships at NIH senior year.

Blair Math and Science Magnet Program. Without a doubt, hands down, irrefutably the best.

... and, Sidwell lower school is emphatically not academically challenging. Wonderful, yes, but not a stand out rigorous place for 8 year olds.

For high school, I'd go with Prep and Holton in MC. Sidwell lower school is in MC, though..they could be a contenda'

There are so few exceptional private schools in MC - I'd go with Georgetown Prep and Holton.
