Chuck Levins also... my dad plays clarinet, so he called a few stores for us to check out the types of clarinets used, etc. He said Chuck Levin's knew what they were talking about, used clarinets that are not the cheapest (good, solid, instruments) and the price was the best. And they are really nice!

I love L&L. Our music teacher recommended them for my son's sax. They have a great rent to own program. Highly recommend them.

OP here. I received a postcard from Concord Music advertising their instruments. Any feedback on them? I will look into some of the other recommendations. Thanks very much.

Another vote for Chuck Levin-- great service, and by far lowest price that I found in the area

Dale Music in Silver Spring was great for us. Not too expensive, and you could apply the rental fee to the purchase of an instrument within one year.

Chuck Levin's will give you the best price with the best service. Great mom and pop music store, not a chain.

Music and Arts in Rockville.

It's not the cheapest way to go but it's good to rent for a bit to make sure it will be used.

Clarinets are easy to find for sale on Craigs List and it's ultimately much more affordable to go that way.

Does anyone have any recommendations on musical instrument rentals in the Bethesda area for a clarinet? TIA!
