I think I'm going with Leo as well, although Julian ahs its strong points.

I feel like in this situation, since you have already narrowed it down so much, wait until you meet him in person. It may help to see him first and perhaps you'll get an inkling as to what he should be called. I'm sorry not to directly answer your thread; I think they're both lovely. Julian is more of a steadfast classic, and Leo is strong and simple. So, which one is your baby? You won't know till you see him.

Leo all the way. I would have used it for one of my boys but it sounds very similar to my name (Leah). Julian is a little wishy-washy for my tastes. Leo is strong and fun and playful. Love it!

Thid is the OP. Thanks, all. They are very different, and yet we're torn as to which is more "us" - my husband leans slightly toward one and i the other, but we both love both names. Our son is Hudson, if that helps.

My son's name is Julian and I love his name. It's common enough that everyone recognizes it, but we've never had any other Julians in any of his classes. It's classic (not an Aiden) but not super popular (like a Michael). It works for a baby, a kid, and an adult. It has nicknames (Jay, J, J + middle name initial, Jude). Anyway, obviously I'm partial to Julian.
