Old Navy. I bought a pair of dark jeans there tha I really love.i too have big thighs and hips. Found them to fit really well. Great inexpensive pair to get you through until you ge to where you want to be.

Another Old Navy vote! And I'm usually a die hard Joe's (Visionaire) or AG fan. I went to old Navy to buy stuff for the kids and was shocked to come home with 2 pairs of jeans for me, that cost $32 TOTAL. I'm not even post partum, I just like them.

I also saw some decent ones at the banana republic outlet but I didn't try them on.

I think in general the cheaper/chain stores are catching up to the "designer" denim brands and getting more on-trend with their cuts and washes. Nobody wears conspicuous labels anymore and there's no reason jeans have to cost $200. I'm not saying the $200 jeans aren't better, but I don't know if they're THAT much better and nobody else is going to know the difference.

There are Lucky Brands at Costco right now for $35! The have three lengths and the jeans are bootcut. They're really cute.

Old navy - they fit really well, sort of strechy and soft and a thinner material. They have come a long way in the last 3+ years.

I would do Gap. They have a promotion going right now -- I think 25% online and 50% off in stores? Could be wrong about the exact deal but I know I just got an email. I ordered a bunch of Gap jeans in a bigger size after I had my baby and got a lot of use out of them until I lost the weight.

Second the levis from kohls. Less than $50 too

I like Lucky Brand jeans for affordability and style. I've also found some nice Levi's at Kohl's. They are very affordable, hold up well, and are good for curves.

I'm 5'8", 6 mo postpartum and 150, but hope to get back to 145 or 140 in the next few months. Skinny limbs, big hips, HUGE upper thighs, tiny calves, little muffin top (That should go soon), good butt.

I used to rock Red Engine jeans and Joe Jeans Honey. But we are tight on money AND baby is not so interested in going shopping. Recs on what to order in the $50-60 range? Gap? I think I want straight leg. I have 2 pairs of skinnys from pre-preg. and I just think my thighs are too big for them.
