I'm guessing it's pretty much like the COGAT, but they're trying to keep people from prepping by tricking them into thinking it's different.

The poster has actual knowledge. Prep for the CogAT can boost scores 30 points. What was seen was a ridicules jump in CogAT compared with other measures (NNAT, etc). The test, which is used for AAP selection as well as other purposes, showed something was amiss in certain subgroups. It may be prepping, it may be something else, i.e., an inherent bias in the test.
