They aren't "the buyers" yet. Closing on the property is conditioned on approval of these plans.

If this is trueLESAE, PLEASE, I hope you have a smartphone. Set up a Ustream account for the meeting here http://www.ustream.tv/ you can use a dummy gmail account to do it. Then hold up your phone and with your Ustream app post a link here on DCUM. I know I and dozens if not hundreds of residents would LOVE to see a live stream of that meeting. Trust me. Do it. It will be a riot.

People in Cleveland Park won't abide a historical reproduction of Edith Wharton's/Henry James' victorian home version of Giant; what makes you think such a monstrosity will ever be built there?
