Subject: How often do you clean the cat litter
If we don't scoop a few times a day and change the box before it starts to smell after about a week, our cat won't use it and will go on the carpet.

2 cats, 1 box. Scoop every other day. Though occasionally I admit 1x every 3 days. Its so gross. Wish one of you super scoopers would come scoop mine.

wow. One indoor cat-- scoop it out every other day. Change it out 1 a month. We used to change it out once a week- but then started putting a lot more in to change it out less frequently. Cat has never had a litter box problem.

Two cats.
I use liners and extra large litter box and I change the liner and replace the litter once a week. I used to scoop more often and need to get back to that. We use feline pine litter.

well I guess I am a terrible owner. we have one cat and two litter boxes in our basement and we clean once per week. guess I should step it up for my furry little guy!

When I had two cats, I had two litter boxes that I cleaned twice daily. Completely changed the litter & clean the boxes every week.

We scoop every day, sometimes twice a day. I completely empty all litter and scrub the box with hot water/cleaner once per week, then refill with new clean litter.
