Recently I interviewed two young men and it's pretty clear that they are a gay couple. I don't have anything against that at all, but I must admit to be a little grossed out by the thought (and likely sound) of a couple of guys shagging each other in my home. From past experience the downstairs apartment is not totally soundproof in that regard.
Will I have a legal problem if I don't rent to them? Am I being unreasonable in being uncomfortable? -- it is my house, after all (and I have a couple of kids).
Are you being unreasonable? That doesn't begin to cover it. I'd go with bigoted, although I'm sure others will have different opinions. Will you have a legal problem? I certainly hope so, given your implication that a gay couple is somehow a danger to your kids, or that it's inappropriate for your kids to see a gay couple.
