I know Basis does not have recess (I'm gathering this is case in many MS) but do kids have any non structured breaks besides lunch? How many kids per class 5th grade)? Does anyone know when next parent info session is? I sent basis email with no response.

There have been a few logistical problems that the administration failed to foresee, but I've been very impressed with how quickly they move to solve the problem once it has been identified. If they see a problem in the morning, they send an employee to the hardware store, etc. to buy whatever is needed to solve the problem by the afternoon.
The hardware store? I don't think hinges and nails are the types of things some of us are interested in hearing about. Some are considering this as a school for next year. I would assume the school admin can figure out how to change a lightbulb, I'm more interested in how the academics and social issues are progressing.
