Also, the notice I saw for the St. Paul's opening was for an older girl: 4 or close to that age. You could try, but that's what I saw posted.

I think Spanish at Caterpillar also has openings, but maybe for three mornings a week.

Caterpillar preschool has a 2 morning a week program if you will consider language immersion. They take 2.5 year olds and the french program at least has openings.

We loved CCUMC, it's only a few minutes away. I'd also try St. Paul's, which is PT and is very sweet.

Just over the line in Chevy Chase, MD, CCUMC still has a few spots. Families come from CC, Bethesda and NW DC.

I think Franklin Montessori has openings, but it's 5 days/week, 9 am to noon.

if you can't find a preschool, there is the NWDC Moms club. They have activities almost every day.

I fear this is a long shot, but does anyone know of a preschool that has or may have openings for the fall for a 2.5 year old? Just found out that we're moving to the Tenleytown/Van Ness/Wakefield area and would love to find a program for my toddler--ideally just 2 mornings a week or so. If not, are there any playgroups or moms' groups or other organized activities that would offer a chance to make some friends?
