Is spending the day with you at work an option? I usually set my 7 year old up in an empty office and let her play on the computer and the put on some movies. It works for the day.

OP, I hate to share it because I still haven't reserved our spot yet, but I will pass along our go-to spot: Audubon Naturalist Society in North Chevy Chase. It's a great place, wonderful people, and the kids have fun plus learn a little along the way. All nature related.

Seconded. They have a great spring break camp, too.

Thanks. She does, but she isn't a big fan of the aftercare, so I was looking at another option for her day off. But, that is our fall-back if needed.

Just kiss my ass. She was asking about baseball, swimming, and rock climbing. That told me that she was looking for places to take her. Not leave her.

Yikes Flo with a dirty mouth. I was looking for programs where I can leave my daughter for a day, when MCPS is out, but I am still working. Thanks to the others for the suggestions.

Signed - OP

Why would a parent have to be there for these activities? I think it was pretty obvious the OP is looking for a camp-like setting for the holiday because she will be working.
