OK - I missed some of the DNC (Biden on in the background now - no zingers yet) but I did laugh when the NM governor talked about going out to lunch with some Repubs (when she was running on a democratic platform) and afterwards said to her husband "Damn - we're Republicans!".

Since these threads often go badly...to the fact checkers, I may have this a little wrong and did not verify her statement on snopes!

This is hard to comment on because your favorite zinger from Mittens is a misrepresentation at best and lie at worst. I can come up with Los of super zingers if truth and facts aren't required.

The speech writers on both sides are earning their pay. So far, for me, it's a tie.

DNC (Ted Strickland - Former Ohio Gov.) - "If Mitt was Santa Claus, he'd fire the reindeer and outsource the elves."
RNC (Mitt Romney) - "President Obama promised to begin to slow the rise of the oceans and heal the planet. My promise…is to help you and your family."
