So do you make the whole thing in your food processor?

I don't have the freezer space to store an entire bag. my blender didn't blend the leaves very well, but my food processor did the trick.

I've been just sticking bags of fresh baby spinach in the freezer. These are great for smoothies and you don't have that end of bag slime anymore. The leaves freeze right up with no clumping. I now can use up a whole package of Costco spinach without wasting it!

Thought I'd share some tips I found on pinterest.

If you put fresh spinach in your smoothies, buy a big bag of it. Blend it with a little water and pour into ice cube trays or mini muffin tins. Freeze.
Buy a big container of yogurt and do the same: put it into ice cube trays or mini muffin tins and freeze. So easy to grab a couple of cubes and toss them into your blender. Less ice will be needed too!

You can also portion out frozen fruit/spinach/yogurt into individual bags, so you can grab a bag, toss it into the blender with water, milk, wheat germ, etc. and then you're good to go! So much easier.
