That's pretty cool.
I just use the shell halves, but my 5 year old is going to like that method when we cook together.

OP, here. Yeah, a lot easier and faster to use your fingers or the shells but I just tried this with my kids and it was awesome!
This is a keeper for some fun in the kitchen

I just crack the egg in half and transfer it. Easy enough.

My grandmother taught me to just back n forth the yolk using the shell. It works.
