The difference between 5% and 8% is the difference between filling a 5-ounce glass to the rim and then adding 3 ounces. It's a mess.

I am in that 3% and I vote every election. I do wonder about this myself.

Go to a mall in an affluent area. Then go to a mall in a poor area. The commonality is people are spending.

The concern for unemployed/underemployed Americans is a political ploy.

If normal unemployment is -/+ 5% then is all the concern over the 3%?

Does the 3% represent a large majority of the voting block?

I was unemployed once for so long I had to file bankruptcy. It was tough on our family and it's upsetting that anyone has to go through that. I don't think anyone really cares abou the 3%.
