We're just so silly for thinking this is a national political issue.m And hey even if it was, Congress makes the laws, not the prez, amirite? So when you think about it, the President is the LAST place you should be concerned!

In a CBS interview(http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-18563_162-57501172/romney-my-views-on-abortion-rights-are-clear/?tag=stack), Romney said this:
"Recognize this is the decision that will be made by the Supreme Court. The Democrats try and make this a political issue every four years, but this is a matter in the courts. It's been settled for some time in the courts."

What strikes me as totally disingenuous is the reference to the Court as though the President has no effect on it. Who does he think nominates Supreme Court Justices? And is he unaware that "settled law" can be changed (Citizens United, Heller)?
