I am blocking a huge number of foreign IP addresses in order to stop spammers. I am particularly blocking addresses in Asia and the former Soviet Union. Since Spain's economy collapse, a lot more malicious activity has been originating there and I have started blocking more Spanish addresses. Relatively few UK and French addresses are blocked and those that are should be data centers rather than end user addresses.

When you are blocked, you can try going to this site: http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and finding your IP address. Then email it to "admin" at the domain name of this site (dcurbanmom.com) and ask me to unblock it. Of course, due to the time change I might be asleep. Otherwise, I'll try to help.

Whenever I travel out of the US, I cannot access the site. I use a US proxy (mainly to access hulu) but if not, the site times out instead of loading. This happens pretty consistently no matter what computer/internet connection I am on. This has happened in Spain, France and the UK. I'm not really sure I understand why it is happening. Is there something you are doing to the site to make it difficult to access through UK isps?
