Recall the old line: A woman without a man is like a fish without a bicycle.

However, my wife can't ride a bike and likes having me around. Go figure!

Imagine an op-ed entitled, "Women, Who Needs Them?"
I'd have to first imagine a world in which women ruled almost the entirety of human civilization and continues to discriminate against men even in a modern democracy, Even 92 years after successfully fighting to get the right to vote. Then I'd have to imagine a world in which women wrote laws governing male bodily functions.

In short you can't dsystemstically iscriminate against a population and them expect rhetorical equality.

Read Anne Rice's "Queen of the Damned" and Akasha's Final Solution to the problem of males in society....

An interesting OP-ED in the NY times

Men, Who Needs Them?
by Greg Hampikian is a professor of biology and criminal justice at Boise State University
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/25/opinion/men-who-needs-them.html?_r=4&ref=opinion

Best throw away line:
When I explained this to a female colleague and asked her if she thought that there was yet anything irreplaceable about men, she answered, “They’re entertaining.”
Gentlemen, let’s hope that’s enough.
