Use Anastasia eyebrow pencil. I also use some hair wax, holds them in line and makes them a bit darker.

resurrecting this thread.

I have considered tattooing also but have shied away as I understand the color fades over time and it looks weird. So yes, at the beginning it looks fantastic then over time you look like one of those women who lines the outside of her lips to make them look bigger thinking that no one will notice...when its obvious to everyone but you!

My MIL has it done. It does fade. I don't know when she originally had it done but it's like a dark blue line now. She had it retouched up a few months ago and then she looked red puffy and with a dark blue line on her brows and eyes. It looks terrible. Please dont do it. Buy a brow pencil or kit and watch some Youtube tutorials.

I use brow powder. I know a lot of women who have eyebrow tattoos, and to me, it looks worse than my brow powder.

I have fine hair and after a little bit of sun, they fade in to non-existence. Make sure he getting whatever you have shaped, it makes a big difference. I've tried the tinting and don't care for it. I use MAC eyebrow pencil in Dirty Blonde. It's dark enough to add definition but not so dark that if you screw up, it looks horrible. I'm not the best with an eyebrow pencil and I find this color pretty idiot proof.

21:12 - Do you know who your friend used? I'm not the OP but I am seriously considering this. Thanks!

Try Anastasia brow powder. Looks more natural than pencil.

I tried Latisse on lashes and brows. It worked, but stained my skin in the outer corners of my eyes, so I stopped it almost a year ago. My lashes stayed long, but the eyebrows fell out back to their usual thinness.

Search for Latisse, there was a recent post here about using that for eyebrows.

You can use Rogaine on your brows.

I've been filling mine in for years.

But if there isn't enough hair, there's nothing to tint. I tried this and it just didn't work.

I have a friend with this issue, and she has them tinted pretty regularly. Not sure where, but she swears by it.

Any one else dealing with this? Is the only solution just to pencil them in? Anyone try permanent make up?

I'm in my mid 40s - they really thinned out after having my 3rd child.
