We are at Holmes and we are really liking it. It's a smaller school, even with the Bren Mar kids coming in, a great staff, and a good education. The after school program is pretty robust, and my kids are doing well there. Can't speak to AHS as we aren't there yet, but we look forward to the IB program and have heard good things about AHS, so no qualms for us.

I went there years ago when it used to send most kids to pre-TJ Jefferson. All I can tell you about Holmes now is that it has been one of the smaller middle schools in the county, but that FCPS just redistricted kids from Bren Mar and Edsall Park from Poe to Holmes, so the enrollment is going to increase.

Zoned for this school any thoughts, as to quality?
