Any feedback on Pine Spring ES?

Not totally sure on the shcools as our children are not yet school age. However, neighbors seem to be really happy with Timberlane. That said we live in greenway donws/pretty much same area as city park homes and really love the neighborhood. Convenient location, wonderful neighbors, lots of kids and just really seems like a great place to raise a family and be a kid growing up.

I'd assume the Devonshire boundaries will eventually be the old Graham Road boundaries plus the section of CPH now assigned to Pine Spring. That area is an "attendance island" today that is not contiguous to the rest of the Pine Spring attendance area, which lies further west.

There's been no discussion of moving that part of the Timber Lane district out of Longfellow/McLean and FCPS did redistrict some neighborhoods within the past few years from Annandale HS to Falls Church HS. FCPS is now projecting that Falls Church HS will gain an additional 275-300 students over the next five years, so it's not clear why FCPS would tinker with the boundaries in a way that would have a big impact on the diversity at McLean.

Half of Timber Lane feeds into Jackson MS and Falls Church HS; the other half feeds into Longfellow MS and McLean HS.

Sleepy Hollow and Belvedere ES have pretty good reputations. Belvedere has a sizable AAP program. Some of the families in the Belvedere district weren't thrilled with a redistricting that will send a stable neighborhood of single-family houses in Annandale (Sleepy Hollow Woods) to a new school, Mason Crest ES, starting this fall. Both also have a fairly high percentage of ESOL students, about the same as Timber Lane and a bit lower than Pine Spring.

Timber Lane feeds into Longfellow Jr. high and McLean HS. Families I know there seem very happy.

My husband and I are TTC and looking at homes in the Pine Spring and Timber Lane districts in Falls Church. Just wondering if anybody has personal experience with these schools, they get a 7 and 8 on great schools but both have a very high percentage of limited english students. I realize things could change a lot in five or six years but trying to get a sense of current environment... Also love to hear opinions on Sleepy Hollow Elem and belvedere elem also in falls church.
