Several other Local Level IV schools have over 30 AAP eligible students. Will they handle things similarly to these schools? I see Forestville, Floris, Oakton, and Spring Hill all have larger than one class size of AAP eligible students that stay at their base schools instead of opting for the center.

Yes, they still have AAP. But, they are making changes to the third grade AAP this year - I believe that third grade is doing a bit of a mixup for some subjects because so many students qualified this year for Level IV services. Email or call the school to get the details on the program if you have a third grader in AAP and are concerned.

The profile website was recently updated and the program is still listed. The school has a relatively large AAP participation. I heard some of the FCPS schools were implementing local level IV differently this year. I'm sure any changes will come up as school gets started and hopefully AAP students and their parents are already aware of any changes to the program.

I have heard a rumor that AAP will NOT be offered at Wolftrap this year.

Has anyone else heard this and if so why?
