I am im my mid-30s and feel very frumpy. Not weight wise--I'm slim and toned. I'm talking more hair color/hair style, makeup, clothes, overall presentation. I feel like I've aged a lot in the last few years and no longer feel very good about myself. I need someone to tell me what hair color/hair style would look best, teach me how to properly apply makeup and what makeup colors would look best, a new wardrobe, and maybe how to present myself better (I'm new to the area and have had difficulty making new friends, and I wonder if it's because I am perceived to be too quiet or unfriendly or something). For instance, a few months ago I went to a colorist at a salon for advice and new color, and the ideas she had just completely wouldn't work for me (she wanted me to go much lighter, which wouldn't be a good look.) So for example I need some professional guidance as to what hair color would look best. Any ideas?
