The median sales price is $548,500 for Mount Pleasant. It's $845, 000 for McLean. But most decent homes in McLean start at $1m, and there are currently more than 40 houses for sale at over $2m.

I think you're just talking out of your ass. People there probably ARE more successful, regardless of whether they think they're better or (god forbid) voted for Romney.

You sound like an old fart.

I'm just explaining why people here are generally content to let windbags who probably don't live in McLean and can't afford it spout off about how "pathetic" it is that McLean Family is supposedly the only restaurant in town.

Middle-aged fart with diminishing patience for know-nothings would be more like it.

It is amazing with all the disposable income in McLean that there is an absolute dearth of restaurants and shopping. I think there are too many senior citizens in McLean who think McLean Family Restaurant is good enough. Pathetic.

It's opening across the street from Joe's burgers this fall (or so I read online somwhere).

Chicken Out in McLean is reopening in the shopping center that has the Color Wheel in it. Many of the Chicken Out restaurants have moved or closed due to high rents.

Sadly, yes, this is newsworthy in McLean. I dont live there but I work there and there aren't many places to grab a quick lunch. It's opening this fall in the old Mae's Dress Shop location on Old Dominion across the street from Joe's Burgers.

I know it's just fast food but it will be a welcome addition to the lack of restaurants in McLean. There are rumors that 5 Guys will be moving into the old Cicken Out building.
