OP here, thanks, this helps. Restaurants are an important part of vacations for us, so we would splurge. Good to know the food is excellent.

We found the restaurants in Old San Juan to be pretty expensive, on par with here, or maybe a little more. But we went to mainly higher end places, you can probably find less upscale places for cheaper. We had really excellent food, though.

It looks like flights and hotels are somewhat reasonable. How expensive is it for restaurants and activities? Thanks.
