(Clinton, OTH, was put to effective use by the winner in that race.)

The honors program likes to tout itself as as good as the Ivies - I know because I was forced to sit through several presentations as a junior and a senior in HS. They heavily recruited at my high school, which sends the most students there of any in DE.

I spent a lot of time on campus with friends when I was home from my school. It was too close to home for me, honestly, but Newark is a nice town and the campus is nice.

As for Joe Biden managing to graduate - Dubya has a degree from Yale and Harvard. Yeah, think about it.

He was a senator for several decades and is the vice president, so, yeah, that's a pretty good feather in its cap

Didn't they have a shooting with students killed by another student or another student's friends a couple years ago?

No! That was Delaware State University, not University of Delaware.

just checked on this.
ranked #75 by US News, which seems pretty good. Esp. their college of engineering
$25,000 for out of state tuitiion seems high
read college reviews: many negative comments from students, crime a recurring topic incl. assaults and robberies.

DD ended up choosing Pitt but UDel was a close second. I really liked the school, the tuition is not terrible and it has lots of out of state kids.
