Agreed -- we got tp'd on Saturday because our swimmers made champs. It is a tradition for swim team.

Lot's of TP on Western Ave NW this weekend. Was wondering about it myself. When I was a kid, it was usually done to some poor, unpopular's kid's house. Glad that it doesn't seem to be the case here.

The sports teams where I live do it as a rite of passage for new varsity players, and the swim teams do it to cheer on kids.

I'm from the Detroit area and people do this on Devil's Night. It's an insult but better than having your house set on fire.

If the perps are junior high or preteen it is either an insult or a crush.

If they are high school, then it means your kid is one of the gang, or a crush. TPing for high school kids is a right of passage.

If you are a high school teacher, then the kids think you are really cool and fun.

Could be either. It's a prank. We usually did it to friends on a milestone and our house was tp'd on my dad's 40th birthday by my parents' friends.
