I say all this as someone who would never vote for Romney for political reasons but also, for all his financial success, he doesn't seem all that competent to me - maybe it's the excessive flip flopping that gives me that impression. This piece was the first time I felt like he might actually know how to lead.

Newsweek is not a major publication. Newsweek was a major publication that is soon going to be out of business. That is why they had to rush and publish this now.
This will probably have about as much impact as when Newsweek (and they still had readers...) called George Bush a wimp back in 1987.
havent read the article but suffice to say wimp isnt the word i would you use to describe romney. maybe soft or weak in certain aread but calling him an all out wimp is sort of a low blow coming from a so-called major publication.
