theres a difference between jumbling words and making gaffe's and being a complete dumb ass and joe biden isnt in the latter category.

im a biden fan so he's ok with me. all this talk about replacing him is completely stupid regardless of my feelings for him.

obama's "failings" have nothing to do with biden. not one single thing so what is the point?

If you knew anything about Biden, you would know this is not the norm. He is incredibly eloquent. He has been a career politician his whole life; he was too young to be sworn into the Senate when he was elected, so they had to wait a month. I have SO much respect for the man, his family, his attitude, and the way he speaks; he makes immediate and personal connections with people.

Honestly, if you were filmed speaking as much as this man is, you would be caught making more than a few mistakes.

The gaffe patrol strikes me as a prime indicator of the trivialization of our political process. The press seems quite satisfied with treating the most important office in our country as though it were the prize on some reality show called "Trip up the Candidate."

Based on his apparent skill set, I am surprised the Republicans didn't nominate him for President. He's got the rhetorical skill they seem to crave.

Oh, I hope not. Joe Biden is the gift that keeps on giving.

There is a lot of talk about Romney's running mate selection but I haven't seen any about Obama's. But I don't follow politics as closely as I'm sure many of you do. Anyone think Obama might ditch Biden this time around?
