The dinner was scheduled for Tish B’av, a Jewish day of fasting to remember Holocaust victims and the destruction of the first and second Jerusalem temples. Romney’s team knew about the holiday because the invitation read, “Dietary laws will be observed. Refreshments will not be served until after the fast.” But they didn’t foresee that fundraising on such a solemn occasion would be insulting to his host country.
The oil producers also owe him a debt of gratitude: oil prices will go back up to over $100.00 a bbl due to Mitten's encouraging Israel to strike Iran. Our economy really needed this one
