We like the atherton and the nittany lion inn. We've also stayed at the days inn. Also, spats is a great restaurant downtown that we always visit when we return to Penn State. Have a great trip.

We always stay at the Atherton...walking distance to the entire campus. My husband was on the volleyball team so during alumni events or other sport occasions, the Atherton is a 2 minute walk from the old gym.
