File complaints with all the boards, gcaar, etc.
Call up NAR and speak about your complaints.
If you were very ill represented, errors and omissions, etc call a real estate litigator.

Angie's List is a good start, but people want price comparisons (which realtors, doctors, plumbers charge the most, etc.) and how polite/friendly/professional they are.

Coming to DCUM forums is fine and dandy, but all those people looking for good obgyns/docs/recommendations are screaming for a good review site for services.

In 3-5 years, there will be a rating service for anything and everything that you can compare across the country. (unless they lobby to prevent it).

My parents began this process (on the west coast) by complaining to the managing broker, who took over the sale and ended up kicking in some $ towards closing.

You could try the No. Va. Assoc. of Realtors, or you could try the VA Office of Professional Licensing. I'm sure both would be happy to talk to you about filing a formal complaint.

Anyone know how to do this? He is a "big shot" at his particular company, so I am more thinking about going through the licensing board or BBB. This is in Virginia, btw. Any thoughts?
